Financial technology is changing the way we handle money - from mobile banking and digital credit to blockchain. With over a decade of experience in financial services, Jordan Buck will explore the latest themes in the fintech sector, including the new rush towards profitability over 'growth at all costs', whether the large banks will ever catch up on innovation, if anywhere can match Silicon Valley, and the prospects of using generative AI in fintech.
Speaker Bio
Jordan Buck is Co-founder & President of Cadro, the fintech wealth and investment manager designed for clients of the twenty-first century
. He was previously Partner and Head of Private Equity at LGT, and beforehand worked in Mergers & Acquisitions for Lazard in the US and KPMG Corporate Finance in the UK, where he trained as a Chartered Accountant. Jordan graduated from The University of Nottingham with a Sutton Trust scholarship, and currently lectures at the London Institute of Banking & Finance on Private Equity. He is a Liveryman and Court Assistant of the Worshipful Company of International Bankers. Jordan was recognised as a 2020 Private Asset Manager Top 40 Under 40.
