Gill Langmack's students were underperforming when it came to sepsis diagnosis, which mirrored real world trends in medical practice, both in the UK and worldwide. She embarked on creating a learning tool to tackle this specific issue, in collaboration with the HELM team. As the audience for this was potentially very broad, substantial user testing and peer review was undertaken, and indeed, the resource has been a runaway success, being thousands of times across the NHS and in several other parts of the world.
