Francis Willughby's European Field Trip

Professor Mark Greengrass, early-modern historian, reconstructs the excitements of Francis Willughby's journey across Europe to find out what it tells us about the lure of science in the age of the early Royal Society.
The talk was given in connection with the Weston Gallery exhibition 'Francis Willughby: A Natural Historian and His Collections', curated by Manuscripts and Special Collections and Dr Dorothy Johnston.
