How do you encourage children's hunger to learn? How do you inspire a fascination with science? Food is a good place to start.
In August 2014, at Sutton Bonington Campus, recent Nottingham PhD graduate ScienceJennie, who was developing new products for ingredients innovation firm Eminate Ltd, was joined by colleagues and current Food Science students to let children explore the science of food.
Jennie has now taken up post as Outreach Officer for the EPSRC Centre for Innovative Manufacturing of Food in collaboration with Universities of Nottingham, Loughborough and Birmingham.
