The University of Nottingham International Mother Language Day celebration featured crafts, costume, food, games, music and dance performances celebrating the many cultures of the world – and the many languages and cultures of Nottingham's students, staff, alumni and local community.
International Mother Language Day was established by UNESCO in 1999 as a global
celebration of multiculturalism and multilingualism.
