The University of Nottingham's first Sphere conference on Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI) which aimed to bring the university. community together to share best practice and research in the field of EDI , along with celebrating funded Sphere projects.

The conference included:

Talk about EDI in the Digital World and Public Engagement by Professor Louise Mullany (English) and Dr Jacqueline Cordell (English)

Talk about EDI through a Technicians’ Lens by Kelly Vere MBE (Director of Technical Skills & Strategy) and Jodie Chatfield (Technical Services Manager)

Information about projects funded by the SPHERE Programme Board including:
- Supervising PGRs from diverse backgrounds - Alice Haslam & Sandra Rose (Research and Innovation)

- Diversifying library collections for LGBT History Month - Roz Kelly & Emma Halford-Busby (Libraries)

- Focus group with BAME students - Aimie Purser (School of Sociology)
