Dr Nick Raine-Fenning elaborates on a joint study with researchers in Brazil which showed that endometrial scratching in fertility treatment increased clinical pregnancy rates. Their paper, entitled “Endometrial injury performed in the non-transfer cycle and assisted reproduction outcomes: a randomised control trial”, won the award for Top Abstract, at the International Society of Ultrasound in Obstetrics and Gynecology (ISUOG) 23rd World Congress.
