'There is a pleasure in the pathless woods' is an exhibition by Nottingham based artist Tristram Aver.
In this video he tells us how the notion of 'Britishness' is explored in his reinterpretations of 19th century salon paintings using contemporary cultural and commercial references.
The exhibition is on show 22 November 2014 - 15 February 2015 in the Angear Visitor Centre, Nottingham Lakeside Arts.
