The University of Nottingham is home to almost 700 technicians supporting student education and research across faculties and disciplines. Seema Bagia supports research activities, delivers training and enhances student experience in the School of Life Sciences, Medical School. 

To recognise the role of technicians within the university, we spoke to technicians about their roles. We want to see technical skills, roles and careers recognised and aspired to, as part of our Vision for Technical Talent and Technician Commitment pledge.
