Interdisciplinary ways to view the world.
What does it mean for a curriculum to be interdisciplinary? And what does it mean to encourage students to 'take an interdisciplinary view of the world'? By introducing the curriculum at the London Interdisciplinary School, the new university that has opened in London, and by showcasing some student work from the Bachelors in Interdisciplinary Problems and Methods, this talk presents some possible answers to these questions. As part of the presentation of student work, we will also raise the issue of what AI may mean for interdisciplinarity, interdisciplinary learning, and for student assessment more widely.
